Throughout her life, Joyce, one of the founders of Clayton Hospitality, sprinkled kindness wherever she went.
As a cancer survivor, badly scarred from radiation (which is why she always wore a scarf), she drove cancer patients to treatments for years and would always have a muffin, biscuit or bottle of juice and a kind word and hug for them post treatment.
When flying, she travelled with candies or suckers to distract a nervous, fussy child and was often seen taking up a crying baby so the Mom could go to the loo or eat a snack.
Clayton, her husband, was the ‘victim of her kindness’ as she often had him out shovelling the neighbour’s driveway after the lady’s husband had died.
In this spirit, we want to give you a chance to experience the feeling of ‘Joyce’s Little Extras’.
